Join us during the month of April to celebrate Earth Day 2017 and highlight some of the best that Del Rio has to offer!

The focus of Earth Day activities is to bring together local businesses and organizations to inform, educate and inspire our community to live healthier, happier and more sustainable lives.


April 1st - San Felipe Creek Cleanup
9:00 a.m. - Help us kick off Earth Day Month with a San Felipe Creek Cleanup. Meet at the Amphitheater at 9:00 a.m. for coffee, snacks and to grab supplies. Families and community groups welcome!

April 22nd - Earth Day Event | Home & Garden Show, Del Rio Street Eats, Movie Under the Stars

The event at the Del Rio Civic Center will feature educational booths, local food, home and garden booths, demonstrations, hands-on activities and a free evening movie in the Del Rio Community Garden. All events are free and for all-ages. 
10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. - Earth Day

April 29th - Adopt a Park City-Wide Clean up
Help us wrap up a great month of environmental activities with a city-wide park cleanup. Get your neighbors, co-workers or organization together to adopt a park and help us make Del Rio an even better place to get outside!
Cleanup supplies can be picked up from the Del Rio Community Garden or Buena Vista Park from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 29th. Cleanup can take place anytime during the day.
